INTELLIGENT-EYE SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

In view of this our system “Intelligent-Eye Surveillance System“ is developed. This system works on motion detection technology. According to this “recording only happens when moment occurs in the area you define. The video data then gets digitized, captured with date and time, compressed saved on PCs hard drive and then rises the alarm for pre-defined action”. When an alarm is triggered the unit will dial up to five members announcing that an alarm condition has occurred it can also send text messages to any mobile phone alerting the user of an alarm condition. The user can then enable the unit to perform different activities based on the requirements.

Here we present an operational computer vision system for real-time detection and tracking motion. The system captures monocular video of a scene and identifies the moving objects . This serves as both a proof-of concept and a verification of other existing algorithms for motion detection. This design allows a system that is robust with respect to occlusion, clutter, and extraneous motion. The results of I-Eye technology provides its users with substantial man power savings due to its reliable performance and capability to access and review multiple simultaneous alarms. Motion detection algorithms developed by Y.Song are studied to implement the Motion detection module.

Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)

Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVRS) are historically interactive speech menu driven systems that walk the caller through a series of prompts where they respond to questions by pressing a combination of one or more buttons on the phone keypad.

The decision tree associated with prompts and the responses will route the caller to the information they desire. Interactive voice response system is implemented using Intel Dialogic card, which is a unique product from Intel Company. Interactive voice response system application is a new and an unexplored area in the field of information technology. This application is developed in custom and tailored environment with the use of native APIs of Dialogic system software provided by Intel Corporation

MOBILE MESSAGING SYSTEM

The mobile user of today can choose from a variety of messaging technologies. At one extreme, the user may choose to carry a miniature-paging device. At another extreme, he may choose to carry a laptop device that he can use to dial in to retrieve E-mail messages. Each of these technologies provides a particular set of capabilities and functionality to the mobile user.

Modern E-mail systems provide a comprehensive richness of message format, including, From, CC and subjecting fields and ability to include attachments. Traditional paging devices, by contrast, typically provide extreme simplicity of message format in some cases no more than a 10-digit telephone number.

While on the move, mobile users need to have important or time critical information delivered to them. This information may be more complex than a 10-digit telephone message editor capacity. And it may be necessary to present this information to the user immediately, without requiring him to dial in for E-mails. Users must be able to accept messages at any time, at any place and on a device that they can carry anywhere.

This problem is achieved by the Mobile devices that provide the user with a very high degree of portability, which can’t be matched by a laptop or even most palmtop devices. In this application, the users will receive a SMS whenever a new mail is present in his mail account which is configured by Microsoft Outlook Express, indicating the To, From address and Subject fields. Then depending on the From address the user may realize and then go for browsing then checks the mail.

This project also includes another module called “SMS editor”. In the mobile device the composing process of new message is very difficult because of restricted number of keypads. The user has to wait at least 2 seconds to wait for the cursor after pressing a key and for a specific letter we have to press the keypad number of times until we receive the exact character. It will be difficult to a large organization where they provide customer support service through SMS because of low economic rates.

In order to solve the problem, SMS editor is developed with in this project. In that we will enter the phone number and Message using the computer keyboard and that message will be sent to the mobile device which is connected to the same PC through a data cable and then from that mobile the message will be delivered to the destination. In this process, the user will not touch the mobile device. At the same time a separate log list will be maintained indicating the date and time of message sending and some message content. This log list can be saved for the future reference.
